Our Mission
Magnolia Theatre’s mission is to cultivate a sense of purpose, community, and creative outlet for artists of all ages within the greater North Haven/Hamden region. We seek to support and train the next generation of arts lovers by producing theater that entertains, makes you think, and engages participants in the entire creative process - from first rehearsal to strike.
Who we serve
We aim to connect with people of all ages and from all walks of life - to truly be a community organization. We believe that everyone in the community has something to offer to the organization. Whether your interest is in performing, building sets, making costumes, directing, choreographing, marketing, fundraising, or simply enjoying performances, we seek to welcome you home.
Our Values
As an organization, we believe four core values are required to create lasting impact: Community, Communication & Transparency, Education, and Uncompromising Quality.
Governance
As an organization, we believe in being transparent in all we do. To that end, all of our policies and documents will be published online and available for the community to review. Our Governance page provides direct access to the following policy documents:
Support Our Work
Your support is vital in helping us achieve our goal. Through your support, we’re able to build a true sense of community - a home for those who wish to learn, grow, perform, build, and create. Your generous donations help us build sets, make costumes, and find performance space - all while ensuring tickets remain affordable and accessible to the greater community.
